Diligence and Assessments

ResearchDx offers comprehensive diligence and technology assessments for a variety of purposes including Company Valuations, Angel and Venture Capital (VC) investment, and Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A).

Commercialization Assessments

ResearchDx can provide expert assistance with questions related to marketability, funding sources, commercial partners, patenting and other protection methods, new business startup considerations,  licensure, regulatory requirements, reimbursement including local coverage determinations (LCD’s), PLA and CPT coding, and MolDx applications (As appropriate).

Our Commercialization assessments are commonly utilized for:

  • Providing  a commercialization roadmap for companies wishing to develop a product
  • Providing a SWOT analysis of a competitor’s product
  • Providing strategic guidance when entering a new product area
  • Providing contracted experts to supplement in-house expertise

Technical due diligence

ResearchDx can perform Technical due diligence (TDD) on an assay, technology portfolio, or organization from a technical perspective, including its products, technical infrastructure and architecture, product roadmap, services, practices, and staffing. The TDD process is usually carried out prior to major corporate events such as funding rounds, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), or initial public offerings (IPOs). TDD is generally initiated by the investor, but a company may initiate TDD before seeking funds or investments. TDD can be executed by the investor or company’s in-house team, or by a third-party diligence agency.
